Mission
Our Mission is to promote bicycle racing at all levels in Virginia and to provide an open environment in which to learn about racing and improve performance, share our knowledge about the sport, and support an active lifestyle and our community.
Goals
We achieve our mission when:
• We demonstrate a passion for cycling. We are competitive and help and encourage others reach their full potential in the sport.
• We act with integrity when racing. We pledge to teach and exhibit safe and responsible riding and racing following the USA Cycling guidelines and etiquette.
• We demonstrate a commitment to our community. Our members volunteer their time and expertise to support local racing events, clinics, community outreach, fund raising or political action to support the rights and interest of cyclists.
• We represent the best interest of our sponsors. Specifically, we are providing safe and exciting venues to race, organizational support and by creating brand visibility.
